What will I gain from this experience?

We hope that the day will give you an insight into becoming a teacher, as well as what to expect from our teacher training programmes.

You'll get to observe a range of classes in varying age groups and see what life is like on a daily basis for a teacher. The day will help you gain a real insight into the profession before you apply, and help you make a decision between primary and secondary teaching. You'll also receive more information on teacher training including application and interview tips.

Who are we?

Prestolee SCITT is an Outstanding provider of Primary Initial Teacher Training across Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and beyond, our postgraduate training programmes lead to the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Training is designed and delivered across our partner schools by leading practitioners and leaders of education.
